A new post for Figma again. This time is the man to the root of all trouble in the anime Suzumiya Haruhi, Kyon! People must be wondering why suddenly so many figma post. Well the figma are often understocked each distribution as such I got like 3 in a go just recently.
Kyon is from the anime/novel The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. Kyon is a guy who once thought aliens, time walker, esper and santa clause existed. As time pass, he knew such things was probably some fantasy but when he entered his first year of high school, he met Haruhi. Giving her the idea of if things dont exist, make it, he sparked of her frenzy adventure of creating SOS Brigade. Due to some divine intervention probably by Haruhi, the members are all but normal. There he starts his insane journey of discovery into the unknown with her.
Kyon as a figma figurine is probably pretty rare. Considering how little expression he has in the show, there really isnt much to pose around with him or props for him to utilize either. He was given 2 face, a spare pair of shoes and a few pair of hands. Kyon has a trademark “Oh Great” pose which can be recreated using the figma figurine. Below are some pictures of Kyon in action. Next post will be Yuki Nagato and once Itsuki arrived(estimated September), the whole gang of SOS Brigade will be assembled together to do the Hare Hare Yukai Figma Edition!

Mikuru from the anime Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. The 4th Member of the SoS brigade, famous four her voluptuous body and extremely cute face. She was suppose to be one the agents from the future, a time walker, sent to investigate why theres a time barrier that prevents them from further moving to the past. The cause was pin pointed as Haruhi and thus her job was to keep an eye on her. Things did not go as predictable and she was dragged into one of Haruhi (or should I say Kyon) idea, the SOS Brigade. Her adventure begins from here!
Figma as always did not disappoint us. Got them from La Tendo in Singapore. Their paint job and details are still very good into their 6 model. Mikuru only came with minimum props but comes with 3 different face expression one being the shows classic. Below are some picture to see her in action!

One of the new Figma I recently aquired. Figmas are a pain to purchase, always having to wait for the second release and such.
Some character information of Suzumiya Haruhi. A character from the hit anime series The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. Haruhi is an extremely authoritative person, and over that she has a very weird view of life, that Alien, Espers, Timewalker exist in this world and she wants to befriend them. The story started with Kyon making a comment on how she can change her surrounding by creating a club. This started her thinking and begin her insane rampage for members, activities and fun for her. Some say she is God, some say she is an unknown element, other believe she is just an imitation but one thing is for sure, whenever Haruhi is there, the others will never rest!
Now lets talk about the figma model. Haruhi is the 2nd model in the series after Yuki Nagato. She like saber and Konata comes with quite a few exchangeable accessories and faces. Her skirt is made of soft plastic allowing to bend to her leg pose if required. Figma still keeps their trademark good painting and detail. The only thing I dont like is the kneed joint as Haruhi has pretty thin legs and the joints are pretty ugly at times. Now whats better then seeing a few pictures of her in action!

Got my Saber after some wait from a La Tendo( A local hobby shop in Singapore). I shall now tell the story about saber as its already posted in my Revoltech Saber Post. So lets talk about what is so cool about Figma’s Saber.
Figma Saber comes with a pretty nice kit of items. They have 4 pair of hands for different purpose, 2 sword with scabbard, 2 hair style and 2 interchangeable face. With this amount of stuff, many pose is actually possible. Now with regards to posing, figma is abit more flimsy compared to their revoltech counterpart. Partially is cause revoltech uses a click joint which holds better. Also the design of the figure joints are slightly better on revoltech then figma. However theres one thing figma beat revoltech and thats details. The paint job is better, the skirt is more well design, the sword is more decorated and the scabbard is really fantastic. Coupled with a pretty well thought stand, Figma is fantastic collectable and great for display in pose.
